About Tha Family Family Biznis Entertainment was established in May of 2005 as an independent record label based in Kansas City, Missouri. We specialize in the hardcore urban music genre proclaimed by the media as "Gangster Rap".
While it is true most of our staff members and artists have former affiliations we work with people from all sides and are firm believers in the "Stop the Violence", "Increase the Peace" and "Cease Fire" movements to stop the killings in our inner cities. We also paticipate in programs to help underprilvlidged youths such as "Toys 4 Tots", and the "G.U.T.T.E.R." Foundation.
Our current artist roster consists of both Bloods and Crips , and includes original members such as Tony Franks, Yung Gost, T.a.n.k. (formerly Big T), Rodawg, and Young Villin Capone. Also new comers D*Wayne, G Beatz, Infamous DOC, and Maxamill. Past artists are Kuntry Capone, and Street League.
We have a catalog ranging from 2005 to present all still currently available for purchase, or free download (depending upon the release). As well as several outside releases and mixtape appearances to our artists' credit. In 2008 Family Biznis Entertainment became an official LLC, and subsidiary of Crime Family Communications.
In 2009 we became one of the most highly anticipated movements out of both the Kansas City local, and the MidWest regional scenes.
Now in 2010, we look to dominate our respective markets and expand into new terroritories.
